"There's a Crocodile in My Crib"

That was the 4 a.m. cry from my 2 year old today. I went running in to assure her crocodiles are non-existent in our part of the suburbs. But she was sitting up in bed pointing at it, and it was the third or fourth time she had awakened crying in the night so I scooped her away from the imaginary crocodile and snuggled with her in my bed. Then her big sister followed and eventually we were having a sleep over and Daddy headed to their room to try and catch a few winks..

It was a tough night for all. The baby was up every hour from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. And no one can swallow or breathe. Some nasty virus followed Sophia home from her preschool and it has taken hold of our little home with a vengeance. I'm running on fumes tonight at work, I can't breathe, can hardly speak, I am freezing cold and there are still two more shows to go.

Once I finally get to crawl between the covers tomorrow morning I hope the crocodiles find somewhere else to play.

(cough, cough, sneeze......)
