Admiration
This is my Donna Downey homework from a week or so ago. The Layout is about someone you admire -- and for me that is my Mother.
The full text of the journalling reads:
"I have always admired you Mom. But now that I am a Mom myself, I stand in awe. How difficult it must have been to raise four children, work outside the home and manage things while Dad travelled for work. How was it that we all got to school, to our activities and were always clean, fed and dressed? I always thought your magical powers were at their best after the sun went down. During the "magic witching hours" while we were asleep, projects were completed, packages were wrapped, costumes were sewn, and special treats were baked. How little sleep you must have gotten to make our daytime dreams come true.
I think of you often now as I burn the midnight oil making a little magic for my own children."
I was glad to get a chance to use this picture of Mom and Francesca from Mother's Day Weekend 2003.
And have I mentioned in the last 10 minutes that my next Donna in person class is next Saturday??? Hooray!
Oh, and I almost forgot -- Donna sent me an e-mail about this assignment with a subject line of "wow"!
